BETHEL, Alaska - Alaska State Troopers say a Cessna with four people on board safely made an emergency landing on an iced-over lake near Bethel.

The engine failed Sunday on the Yute Aviation Cessna 172 and it was forced down about six miles west of the city.

Bethel Search and Rescue responded with two ATVs and brought the pilot and three passengers to Bethel.
