ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The state medical examiner has ruled that a 63-year-old Anchorage woman's death is inconclusive.

Letitia Ann Baxter's body was found in a wooded area near Earthquake Park in late September. She went missing after taking a walk to her sister's house the month before.

Baxter was known to be an avid walker and trail user. Her boyfriend discovered her remains near the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and alerted police.

Police spokesman Lt. Dave Parker told the Anchorage Daily News (http://is.gd/7hTP2r) on Wednesday that an inconclusive finding is not unusual when a body has been exposed to the elements for some time. He says there has been no indication that foul play was involved in her death.
