Denaakk'e Dedeenee is a series of Denaakk'e Language activities for children accompanied by a parent or caregiver.    Each lesson is led by Doyon Foundation Language Revitalization Program staff Diloola Erickson and Jennifer May-Shannon.  The August 16 class will be organized around words for colors and beading and will include a hands-on necklace making activity.

These events are organized in collaboratively by The Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center, The Doyon Foundation, Tanana Chiefs Conference, and UAF's Alaska Native Language Center.  This series of events is inspired by UNESCO's International Year of Indigenous Languages 2019.
