UAF offers intensive construction classes

FAIRBANKS — The University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Interior Aleutians Campus is offering a series of one-week intensive construction trades technology classes for the first time in Fairbanks.

Classes include: Residential boiler troubleshooting (8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 4-9); burner repair and residential heating controls (1:30-6 p.m. March 4-9); introduction to facilities maintenance (Feb. 25 to March 2); fixtures, faucets and venting systems (Feb. 25 to March 2); and plastic and copper pipe and fittings (Feb. 25 to March 2).

Classes will be held in Fairbanks. For more information, call 474-6770 or register at 4280 Geist Road.
