Loose boat trailer hits cyclist in Anchorage

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Police say an empty boat trailer that broke lose from a pickup truck and hit a bicyclist in Anchorage apparently didn't have a safety chain, as required by law.

Lt. Dave Parker told the Anchorage Daily News the 27-year-old cyclist never saw the trailer coming Tuesday night and suffered head and leg injuries.

No Standards, no training, no quality control and the insurance industry just paid a family who contacted us more in settlement not to join our effort.

They do not want us to exist. Why?

But was the motorist cited and held at fault for the accident? Is there insurance paying for the cyclists medical care?
