In addition to being indicted on the felony robbery charge last week, Christian Rauch 19, faces misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree weapons misconduct and minor consumption.
Rauch, wearing a red bandana to cover his face and carrying a silver handgun, was reportedly rummaging through a Chevron-owned vehicle Aug. 24 behind the Tok Chevron station when he was confronted by two clerks who worked there.
Rauch “squared off” when the clerks approached him but ran away after being struck in the chest, trooper spokeswoman Beth Ipsen said.
The clerks did not know Rauch had a gun on him at the time. The weapon was recovered a short time later when Rauch was arrested near the gas station.
Rauch also faces felony burglary, theft and criminal mischief charges in another Tok case filed earlier this year, according to court records.
