ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Anchorage police say they have arrested a taxi driver on charges he sexually assaulted a passenger while she was passed out in his cab.

The Anchorage Daily News reports that Anchorage police arrested 43-year-old Rafael Martinez and booked him in a jail on second-degree sexual assault charges.

Police say Martinez took a woman who had been drinking from an downtown hotel to her home when she passed out in the back of the cab. Police say the woman told officers that when she woke up Martinez was in the back with her and that her underwear was off. She yelled at the driver and the driver took her home, where he dropped her off without asking for a fare.

bumpo - I think that was an admission that he'd already taken more than his fare charge.
