4.4 earthquake rattles Interior Alaska

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A small earthquake has shaken north-central Alaska.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says a magnitude 4.4 temblor struck at 4:23 a.m. Tuesday about 31 miles north of Rampart and 36 miles west of Stevens Village.

The center said Tuesday it has not received any reports of the quake being felt or causing damage.

and so calif gets hit with the same size earthquake a few hours later. Following the line of recent quakes I have to wonder wether Australia has ever had a big one. Yeah, I know, China and Korea do all the time.
