To the editor:
In 1942 Congress passed the U.S. Flag Code. In this code it is written the flag shouldn’t be adorned or printed on disposable items or to be put on costumes and uniforms. The flag code states lots of things; the do’s and don’ts of the flag.
Even our military started to adorn the United States flag on their uniforms with a gold border around it, yet code states no changes and not to be worn. How low could the U.S. military not honor the flag code of the United States of America.
Can you say the United States, we are not America — that’s half of this hemisphere, North, Central and South plus the Caribbean and the Pacific up to the International Date Line.
Say the United States — what’s that mean? — divided? No! Why the Chinese printed flags on Betsy Ross’ grave was a total shock to my son and I in Philadelphia and right across the street was a store that makes flags. Why don’t you people care?
The flag on South Cushman Street, the big red stripes stand for the blood that was lost to gain our liberty. That’s some of my relatives’ blood and I feel it inside of me, and I’m supposed to feel it so we don’t forget. Heritage isn’t taught anymore.
I’ve stood on many revolutionary war graves in my time, and I never fail to stamp my feet and give a big thumbs up and say thanks.
I called the mayor’s office in Philadelphia to get that Chinese junk off Betsy’s grave too.
The flag is not a uniform adornment so let’s have respect for that — it’s the law.

This is the whole 'terrorists had a REASON for committing acts of 911'. all over. When I argued that it was UNREASONABLE , many commenters here decided to play a flawed semantics game that the words 'reason' and 'reasonable' had absolutely no relationship to each other. Somehow there existed this 'in-between world' in the midst of the presence or absence of things. This was usually followed by some disclaimer like "Yes, it was wrong or evil, or...".
But we know why this is done , don't we? It is to give, often sadly enough for the sake of argument alone, some credence or legitimacy to the act without having to be responsible for it.
It wouldn't surprise me , for sake of argument, that words like 'quasi-reasonable', 'pseudo-reasonable','somewhat reasonable' and 'partially reasonable' will be used next for this effect of distancing oneself of responsibility.

No need for me to move, I'm not one of the thieves that stole and are stealing the Native American's natural resources and lands, or looking the other way while it's happening.
It's pretty hard to "move on" when the theft of Americas and other weaker countries natural resources and lands is an ongoing thing right now as I tap out this sentence.
Domestically, you didn't address my points, you just spouted off talking points from Limbaugh, Rove, Savage. Fleischer, Wolfowitz, Cheney, Coulter and the other old balding white men that eerily look like the war criminals from Hitlers Nazi conspirators that were brought to trial at Nuremberg after WW2.
America, as a country, invades, manipulates and takes part in coups and assassinations of foreign leaders to enable its Neo Con owned conglomerates to take over the natural resources and enable the theft of the lands from the Indigenous inhabitants. With the enslavement, rape, murder and genocide of the Indigenous inhabitants. Legally that's called theft and murder. The bought off American government calls it nation building and looking for WMD's. That's what Dubya Bush called it, I don't know what Obama calls it. Depends on if he was bought off by the Neo Cons I guess. Still, he has his nose up israels b--t so he's no different.
So could someoneone who isn't an idiot take my typing points and refute what I wrote about:
-The European and American governments, at their Neo Con owned conglomerates behest, invaded, invades, sanctioned, and enforced other countries rights to invade weaker countries to steal their natural resources and lands for colonization.
-The European and American governments, at their Neo Cons owned conglomerates behest, manipulate, mount coups, assassinate foreign leaders, to set up puppet governments to enable the stolen natural resources and loot to flow to the thieves coffers.
-The murder of 3,000 Americans on September 11,2001 was the end result of Americas policies of Colonialism in the Mid East.
-9/11 was ordered by Bush family friend Bin Laden from Afghanistan after being supported with weapons and supplies by the U.S.
-The lies, deceit, and manipulated intelligence(Downing Street Memos) that yanked us out of Afghanistan and into a country with no ties to 9/11, resulted in the needless deaths of over 4500 dead American kids, husbands and wives. While Cheney made millions, his companies made tens of billions, Bush's brother made millions and their Neo Con conspirators made hundreds of billions of borrowed American Taxpayer dollars
-America's CIA manipulated the coup that overthrew the Prime Minister of Iran and reinstalled their anti-communist puppet in 1953. He was then overthrown in 1979 by the Ayatollah and the U.S Embassy overrun and hostages taken.
-America sent chemicals, arms and supplies to Saddam Hussein when he invaded Iran.
-America is actively manipulating a regime change in Iran now.
-The British plopped the jews down in the middle of the Palestinian lands after WW2 when no other countries, including America and Britain, would let them enter their country. With over 6 billion dollars a year, which they give to the Neo Con owned arms and munitions conglomerates in America, They keep the Palestinians behind barbed wire locked up in concentration camps in their own homelands. While the jews are busy colonizing stolen Palestinians lands. The same way the immigrants stole the Native American lands and murdered them to do it.
The Neo Cons and their bought off American politicians and officials will not admit their policies of Colonialism are nothing more than Theft and Murder and leads to Terrorism. To do so, they'll be forced to admit to the world that they're Guilty of Theft and Murder and are ultimately responsible for the murders of 3,000 Americans on 9/11 and the needless deaths of over 4500 dead American military in a country with no connections to 9/11.
I won't mention the over 1100 dead Mercenaries in the employ of the Neo Con owned conglomerates contracted to the U.S. The Mercenaries are nothing more than civilians making a profit off the pain, suffering and murder of innocent civilians in a war zone.
If you think about it, these ongoing policies are why Americans are whimpering everytime the Neo Con owned news media brays out Bin Laden as the Neo Cons and their idiot followers wrap themselves in the American flag and exhort our kids to go defend the undefendable. Theft and Murder in the name of patriotism.
If you think about it, if We the people of the United States put a stop to these policies of Theft and Murder foisted on other countries, do Americans think the end result of Terrorism would stop? If we take the reason for attacking us away, would they stop attacking us?
But again, we won't stop the policies of Colonialism against weaker countries because the Neo Cons owned conglomerates run America and yank the puppet strings of the marrionettes toadying up to them in Washington.

If you don't love this country then why not find one that has hasn't committed any of those oh so horrible atrocities and move there? I know why you won't, because you will never find one! We can't forget out past transgressions, but it's people like you that need to move on. I have travelled quite a bit and have no qualms about saying America is the best country in the world. At least you can get on an internet forum and voice your opinion...
As I wrote before, the American flag is to represent Freedom, Liberty and Justice for All. At the time it was written, it meant if you were white. As the catholic church made a decree that it was gods will to practice the policies of Colonialism with the invasion of weaker countries to steal their natural resources and lands for Colonization. As was practiced against the same Native Americans who saved the Pilgrims and that honors famed rapist, slaver and murderer Christopher Columbus.
What Freedom do we have when the U.S. government is used as a tool by the Neo Con owned conglomerates to manipulate, mount coups and set up despotic puppet governments, to continue the flow of stolen resources and loot into the Neo Cons coffers. At the risk of attacks by the countries and people who are being robbed?
Americans are deliberatly divided by wedge issues by the Neo Con owned news media in Collusion with the same Neo Con owned conglomerates who are raking in record profits of blood money off the backs of the over 4500 dead American kids, husbands and wives who died in a country with no ties to 9/11, we went into on a changing bed of lies, deceit and manipulated intelligence. What does our flag represent? Does it represent Freedom? Liberty? Justice for All?
Since our government is run and owned by the Neo Con owned conglomerates, We are no longer the United States of America. We are the United Multi National Corporations of America.
Look at the legislations making it mandatory to purchase insurance from the same insurance corporations jacking up the premiums up 40%, after paying off the politicians.
Our policies resulted in the 3,000 American Citizens being murdered on 9/11. our Neo Con policies yanked us out of Afghanistan just when we had Bush family friend BinLaden in our clutches and sent us into a country with no ties to 9/11 where over 4500 American kids, husbands and wives died unneccessarily, but the Bush administration and their family and cronies made record profits.
Go ahead and refuse to print this. The truth is hard to handle for some idiots I guess.
Democracy in America died, not with a bang but with a whimper. The whimper is when Americans start questioning the Neo Cons policies, the Neo Cons and their enablers bray out Bin Laden and Americans whimper, cower in fear and bleat like sheep.
If you want to gripe about the disrespect of our Flag, then get after those people that display it at night without it's own light. Ambient light doesn't cut it! How about a Flag that is so tattered and torn that you can hardly recognize it any more? Some people say, "the wind did it", but the truth is there are different size Flags for the various weather and ceremonial use. If there is a ragging wind storm, take the Flag down!
But you can staple one to a two by four, stick in the bed of your truck, and tear around town with the thing flapping and tearing in the wind?
I wore the flag on my uniform, and it was a reminder of where I come from and who I was fighting for.
As far as all the evil things from China, time to get a grip. It's a world economy today, corporations go where the work is cheap to maximize profits, and American's just keep on consuming.
Don't blame corporate America, or even the government. Look in the mirror.
