RICHLAND, Wash. - Sarah Palin is spending Thanksgiving with relatives in Washington state before resuming book signing over the weekend.

The former Republican vice-presidential candidate is visiting Richland, Wash., to spend the holiday with relatives.

The Tri-City Herald reports Palin arrived late Wednesday from Orlando, Fla. Palin plans to have dinner at the Richland home of her aunt Katie Johnson, a sister of Palin's mother.

She says it's good to be back in the Tri-Cities to reconnect with "the roots." Palin is planning to run a 5k Thursday to benefit the Red Cross.

She resumes her book tour Sunday, signing copies of "Going Rogue" at a book store in Richland.

Palin's grandparents, Clem and Helen Sheeran, came to Richland in 1943.

The real burning question is...

Was Levi there?

This is the question the American people really need an answer to.

Well, what did she wear? How much did she eat? Were Todd and the kids there? How many other people were there? What were they all wearing? Did they have turkey and ham, or just turkey? Did they have real cranberries or the canned stuff? Did they have that green bean casserole stuff? What color were the napkins? Were they paper napkins or cloth? What did they do after dinner, watch a football game, or play card games? Did she give them all signed copies of her book? How many times did she visit the potty while she was there?

So, what did Alaska's real governor do for Thanksgiving?
