I do appreciate your help. Hopefully someone will read this that knows him or knows the former wife or son Jesse and maybe I can get more info that way… :( This is terrible news.
wasnt too sure but it sounded like the correct age.. will have to have more info thats why I thought the family names may help you, ie Mother father ect. Good luck on finding the info you need. For your sake I hope its not him however if it was his obit at least you may find some info from others listed and be able to contact them for anything you may need to know. I did not know this person just thought I would try to help. I always look into obits first just incase as it may take me on a lead I may not otherwise find. Good luck to you
This seems to fit the profile of him but i’m still not 100% sure this is him. Is this an obituary from a local newspaper or do you know him? I’ve talked to my mother and she has told me some other information about him that would help. Do you have ANY other information?
Joseph “Skip” Dean Lyles Jr., 55, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2008, in Fairbanks with his son, Jesse, by his side.
Skip was born in Fairbanks in 1952 at Ladd Hospital on Ladd Field. Skip was a fun loving man. He was a “larger than life” kind of person always with a smile on his face and always making sure everyone was having a good time, including himself.
Skip loved music, he enjoyed playing the guitar and drums, he loved being outdoors and riding his four-wheeler around the boonies. Skip loved life and lived hard.
Skip will be missed by everyone, and his spirit will live on through his granddaughter and many special people.
Skip was preceded in death by his mother, Karlene, and his father, Joseph.
He is survived by his only son, Jesse James Lyles; granddaughter, Elizabeth Marie Lyles; former wife, Debbie Lyles; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
A private service will be held for family and close friends from 1-3 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, at Chapel of Chimes, 415 Illinois St.
I noticed there were quite a few…but I didn’t see any addresses… Any other suggestions? We’ve tried to talk to the police dept to see if they could look him up and maybe pass a message with my phone number, but they said all of their records are old. I’m at a loss with not knowing where I should try next. I was hoping that maybe by posting this that someone may know him and could pass a message that I am looking for him!
punch his name into the court records and you might find an address there.
