FAIRBANKS — The Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival is introducing a new payment option that allows entry to multiple performances at a discounted rate.

The Legend Pass for $100 grants access to any six ticketed music, dance and comedic performances, which could save you up to $50. The Star Pass for $50 grants access to any three ticketed music, dance and comedic performances, a potential $25 savings. Entrance to venues is subject to capacity, so reserving tickets in advance online or at the box office is suggested. Fundraising and culinary events are not included in the Legend Pass and will require the purchase of additional tickets. Also included in the pass is a 2014 festival shirt.

The Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival takes place July 13-27 and offers performances in jazz, dance, opera, American roots, Celtic, chamber music, orchestra, gospel choir, cabaret, steel pan and more. Festival passes can be purchased online at or at the festival box office located in the Great Hall at the University of Alaska campus. For more information, visit the festival website at or call the festival office at 474-8869.
