Artisan Expo comes to Museum of the North

The University of Alaska Museum of the North is hosting its annual Artisan Expo & Sale Friday and Saturday.

The expo begins with an evening with the artists from 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, which features light hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary drink. There will be shopping and live music by World Beat Ensemble. You must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets are available online.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Artisan Expo & Sale opens to the public with fiber arts, jewelry, glass work, ceramics and other fine gifts made by artisans from across the state. Admission is free.
