Army to conduct small arms training at Birch Hill Biathlon Range

FAIRBANKS — Residents may see signal flares and hear periodic M-16 gunfire today at the Birch Hill Biathlon Range, according to an Army news release.

Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., soldiers from the 5th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division will be conducting small arms training.
