ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A 28-year-old Anchorage man will serve nearly six years in a federal prison on drug possession and weapons violations.

Shaun Fallon II was sentenced to 70 months Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage.

Prosecutor Erin White Bradley says Fallon was a convicted felon who possessed a firearm when he was attempting to sell methamphetamine last December. His prior felony was an assault conviction in 2005.
