ANCHORAGE, Alaska - An Anchorage home was surrounded by a SWAT team after police were called for a domestic dispute.

KTUU-TV (http://is.gd/RQCpBG) says 24-year-old Christopher Jay was arrested late Saturday, but he told a judge on Sunday that he wasn't even at the home when the SWAT team arrived. He says when he heard that police were looking for him he went back to the house and turned himself in.

Police say Crystal Bijak, who is Jay's girlfriend, told police that the two had been drinking and got in an argument. She says Jay put her in a choke hold and she had difficulty breathing. Jay also is accused of getting in an argument with his sister and threatening her with a knife.

Jay is being held on $20,000 bail.
