Alaska Strategic and Critical Minerals Summit set for Nov. 30 in Fairbanks

FAIRBANKS — Fairbanks is hosting the 2012 Alaska Strategic and Critical Minerals Summit on Nov. 30, putting a spotlight on the state’s potential for exploration, development and processing strategic and critical minerals.

The agenda for the event, from

8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge, will include a progress report on the state’s strategic minerals initiative, as well as private-sector updates on exploration, project development and the global supply chain.
