ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Alaska State Troopers say they're boosting patrols for Halloween.

Troopers say the increased patrols will focus on people driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Troopers' spokeswoman Megan Peters says the enforcement effort will take place in the days leading to Halloween and through the holiday period.
