FAIRBANKS - If you snapped a nice photo of your child or grandchild fishing this past summer, send it in to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game for consideration as a cover photo for the 2013 state fishing regulations booklet.

Four images will be selected as covers for regulations booklets for four areas — Southcentral; Arctic-Kuskokwim-Yukon/Upper Copper-Upper Susitna; Bristol Bay; and Kodiak Island, Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian Islands. The primary person in the photo must be younger than 18.

A maximum of three photos may be entered per photographer and should include the name and age of the main subject(s); the photographer’s name and contact information; name and contact information of the main subject’s parent or guardian; and a brief description of the fishing adventure.

Send photos to dfg.dsf.AquaticEd@alaska.gov. Digital photos must be less than 10 megabyte, but clear and crisp when scaled to 8.5 x 11 inches.

The subject line of the e-mail must include the name of the water body or drainage in which the photo was taken. For more information, contact Nancy Sisinyak at ADFG in Fairbanks at 459-7346 or at nancy.sisinyak@alaska.gov.
