Two Alaska Native corporations — Ahtna, Inc. and Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corporation — announced 2012 shareholder dividends this week.

Ahtna, based out of Glennallen with more than 1,700 shareholders, announced a dividend of $353 per 100 shares. Elders ages 62 and older will receive an additional $300.

UIC, a village corporation based in Barrow with more than 2,500 shareholders, will distribute a dividend of $428 per 100 shares. It’s the second distribution of the year, on top of a $1,049 per 100 shares dividend released in March. Both dividends will be distributed on Dec. 14.
